In honor of “Women’s History Month,” the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce you to Maritza Jimenez, as part of our Latinas in Business & Leadership.
Maritza Jimenez is passionate, professional, and enjoys educating the community in the work that she does. She has 15 years of experience in a Medi-Cal Managed Care Health Plan as a Marketing/Public Affairs Rep for Kern Family Health Care.
She serves as the Board President for Links for Life, Vice President for Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) Board of Directors and is involved with various local committees. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from Fresno Pacific University.
“The Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s efforts to educate and vaccinate the community during COVID-19 times has been remarkable,” she says.
This type of community outreach and eduction is a common interest shared by Maritza. She is a strong believer that our community will be proactive with their health if they understand the importance of it.
